Foo - Mom is coming over for Dinner and we are having...

...Brushetta, A gorgeous 9 lb. Prime Rib with real horseradish, Potato Pancakes, Fresh young asparagras, and an assortment of French pastries for dessert. My Mom deserves a meal like that for all the times she had to deal with me when I was younger. Her health is not to good and there are not going to be many more Mothers Days that I can celebrate with her.

I'll be taking my mother-in-law, wife, kids and brother-in-law to an Indian restaurant (http://www.passagetoindiapa.com/index.htm). I offered to cook, and this is what they came up with...;-)

My mother raised me to ignore people that have skewed views on life. She then kicked me out of the family when I proclaimed I was no longer Mormon (even though family is the foundation of the Mormon religion).

It's no surprise that I am perfectly content going to the lake with my Dad (not Mormon) today, completely out of my cell phone's operable range.

Sorry to hear of your Mothers problems w/ you. Take this to P&R and they would have a field day with this. My Brother has "disowned" his entire family [ mother, father, brothers and sisters] for reasons known only to him.
