I don't know if this is considered South East, but I will be in DE next month and was wondering if there were any good road rides in the Bethany Beach area.

Ocean Highway is a great way to get big miles in - go against the wind on your way out and get a tailwind coming home. I enjoy heading down to inlet in Ocean city and heading back to BB. June shouldn't be too busy as far as traffic goes.

Or, as I did this past weekend, go with the wind on your way out from Bethany to Dewey and only realize what you've done when you're going against the wind on the way home. Doh.

The weather's getting warm, almost time to catch Love Seed Mama Jump Thursday's at the Rudder. I haven't brought my bike down there though, I usually run when visiting my grandmother in law's beach house.

Heh, I'm off to Bethany this weekend. Helloooo, private beaches! ;) However, due to extenuating circumstances I'm bringing my running shoes instead of my bike.

I've actually found Coastal Highway to be kind of boring. There are a bunch of farms to the west of Bethany, so get a map and explore.
