Hello all, I am pretty new to biking, of course I had a walmart bike as a child... I think it weighed some where in the neighborhood of 7900lbs...
But I am moving to Springfield, MO this coming July for college and plan to bike everywhere down there. I'm lucky because Springfield is a very bike friendly city, what with the greenways and bike lanes that crisscross the city, it's pretty easy to commute there. I am definitely looking forward to it because where I live now (very very rural MO) it's all narrow roads and blind corners...
Anyway I own a 2006 Kona Dew Deluxe. But I plan on trading it in for a bright yellow LeMond CC bike (I forget the model) I like the way it rides much better, plus it is a better weight.
I'll probably be hanging around the Commuter and CC forums mostly. See you guys around, it seems to be a very informative community here :)
