bout time I said hello. I found this site last fall when I was looking to get a bike to help me loose some weight. I love to get out in the woods and hike but I found this hurt my knees if I did it very much. A bike seemed like it might work. Anways last fall I bought a Giant OCR3. At the time I weighed about 245. I rode as much as I could but kept getting side tracked by other commitments and did not do a lot. I did loose down to 237 before cold weather really limited my bike riding. Somehow...:') over the winter I manged to put some weight back on. This spring I tried to get back in the swing but again I had a hard time fitting it in my scedual. Oh and BTW I found a used Trek 520 in January and somehow ended up getting it... 2 weeks ago I was getting ready for a 3 day hike and weighed 249. this morning I weighed 243. Anyways, reading yalls post here and the links to various blogs etc has been a tremendous inspiration for me. I am prety much a newb as far as bikes go but I dont mind sharing what little I know and hope to learn more from you guys.

Welcome aboard Coyboy.

I do laundry and dishes also coyboy. But I use this to my advantage when It comes time to buy new biking bling bling. Also, I can get away with buying high dollar shorts and jerseys with out mama knowing.
