What a great Father's Day we had at our home. Our son and daughter-in-law came down and we all biked on a Rails to Trails that runs from Hawthorne, Fl. to Gainesville. 30miles roundtrip. I was so sure I could do this :D , but the heat totally whipped me and I knew about half way into the trip, I had better turn around. I will keep on trying to improve my stamina and hopefully do better next time. I rode in the state park this morning, but it was already close to 90. :(

Sounds really great Bett. My son got me a Hulk T-shirt, and some Hulk boxer shorts, which he insisted that I wear today! So, I did. I couldn't have been happier. I didn't know what he had got for me, but I got him a Hulk bedspread and pillow because I knew he had been wanting one, I gave him his gifts after he had given me mine, and my card. It was a great day for me.

Great Dad's day, also. Ride in morning, church, brunch with Tim and Amy, out to state park to watch Chinook (Golden Retriever in training to be a service dog for Tim) play in the "dog only" area (ponds and trails) at Chatfield State Park.

Man, does that dog love the water - and did I get blasted wet by one dog shaking his fur.!!

Great fun.

My wife and sons offered breakfast. But I wasn't really hungry. Had lunch later instead.Opened card and gift, which was Lance armstrong's book 'It's not About the Bike'. My wife knew that I have wanted that book for a long time. Then went for a great 30 mile ride. Pretty excellent Fathers Day.
