i was just checking with fellow cx ridders to see if your fork has held up well , i tend to ride my fork (07 wcs fork) hard and tend to take this on all my normal mtb rides , fast & steep rocky downhills , it rides great and wanted to see what others thought about its reliability is it safe it has never been crashed and i weigh 170 lbs thanks :):rolleyes:

Well... manufacturers don't want to sell something that could easily get them sued out of existence. From what i've read, modern bicycle forks tend to be OVERbuilt for safety (at the expense of ride comfort).
Pro bikes don't count (Think George Hincapie) since they have to sign their lives away.
So your fork is safe enough. Just keep an eye on apparent superficial scratches, nicks, gouges. Any scratch that will catch your fingernail is serious enough to get a professional evaluation.
I currently ride a Bianchi Cross Concept, and I have ridden the bike over some nasty bumpy/rooty sections and my carbon fork has held up great. as i_r_beej said, a company wont sell a product unless it is tested tested and tested, especially a company like ritchey who has some incredible products.
