Friends -
I live now in southern Germany, Bavaria, and a friend will be joining for a summer tour in 2008. We will be well eqipped, me with a Cannondale T-2000, he with an REI Novarra Rondonee. We do not anticipate going to Italy or Spain, but can accomodate other countries. He is a Polish-American and will probably want to see the land of his great-grandparents. I would prefer a jaunt through Belgium and the Netherlands, possibly even Denmark.

What routes can you recommend? What sights are a "must see"?

I've just finished my North Sea Route of Netherlands and Belgium and enjoyed it a lot. My journals have a lot more detail. I know nothing about Poland other than the agricultural workers in Netherlands and Belgium seem to come from there.

I biked thru Poland 5 years ago - I would definately recommend it. A lot to see and not a bad country to bike tour. But then again neither is most of Europe! :)
