The only I can say about this is that I prefer the geometry of the Trek HT's, I have never riden the Scott bikes you mention, but the Trek has fair bit longer top tube, which I prefer. I discounted the Scott bikes when looking for a racing HT becuase the top tube was much shorther than I am used to.

The 6700 for that price range, is a very good frame..
