Hi all,

My wife and I are avid cyclcists, although we spend our winters cross country and back country skiing. We both have Litespeed road bikes, also a Co-Motion Speedster tandem and a couple of mountain bikes. We live in San Francisco and ride often in Tahoe and Santa Cruz - talk about biking heaven! We love climbing hills and mountains. Our morning weekday ride includes the 'headlands loop,' across the Golden Gate bridge and up the Marin headlands, one of the most spectacular rides I've been on. Speaking of spectacular, here's a hidden gem for touring, weather dependent - Scotland. We biked the Inner and Outer Hebrides Islands in Scotland for two weeks, two years ago this June. What an incredible riding area. Miles and miles of single lane roads with no traffic! We lucked out with only two hours of rain in two weeks.

Cheers and ride on!

Doug
