Hello..
new to the forums and new to the SS/FG scene. I recently bought an 06 Trek T1 w/ a front brake. Its my 1st bike of any kind in about 5 years. I wanted a bike primarily as a cross training tool for running & fitness. I previously had BMX and mountian bikes growing up. Lovin the fixed gear and performance of this bike. It's so light and fast! It's the most fun I have ever had on a bike. It's amazing how quickly you can get up to speed, challenge cars, etc. I want to ride every day. I have also become a real fan of classic looking SS/FG bikes, no brakes, just clean and simple. I can't wait to build one of these in the future. I also plan to get a road bike I can use in Triathalons. So I am probably here to stay. I can see how cycling can become very addicting and very expensive!
I am rather new to alot of the terminology used around here so I may have alot of questions. Thanks in advance for the help.
