Foo - I can finally stop camping!

Well....I've been up here in Bellevue, WA for about 1 1/2 weeks now, but my stuff was not here. I only had the few things (clothes mostly) that I brought with me. I got this house, but I feel like I've been camping in it with nothing to fill it. I bought an air mattress, one cheap sheet, one cheap blanket, one cheap chair (those portable fold out canvas camping type chairs). That's basically all I've had for 1 1/2 weeks.

Finally the movers came today and I have all my stuff again. Thank God I can stop camping....sleep in a REAL bed.....not just a real bed, but MY OWN bed. :D God....it's been weeks since I've slept on my own bed.

I finally have pots and pans to cook in....no more cold food. I have my couch and love seat....e.g. comfortable seating.

It's so nice to not be camping anymore. :D

I never got to say congrats before, so here's a big congrats to you on the move! And yay for getting all your stuff! Now it can finally start to feel like home again. Pics? :)

Now you can make a fort out of the sofa cushions and go camping for real!

When we moved to Costa Rica our stuff was shipped via boat - took about a month to get here. We lived out of suitcases until they arrived. I know how you feel there bud. Then, it took a while to buy enough stuff since it didn't make sense to ship furniture and things.

I just looked outside my office. It is now sunny, with a clear blue sky, slight breeze and 64 degrees. I will go for a ride when I get home.

I still remember your advice on that from the LAST time I moved (locally back in Clearwater, FL).

I will update the tags soon....funny story about that. I went to the dog park here (it's a HUGE dog park....I think it's like 40 acres) on my 1st night. It's so big that Ammo got away from me playing around and I couldn't find him. I was beginning to get worried as dark was only about an hour away. I finally get a call from somebody very hesitantly saying, "Hi....I found your dog....in a park....in WASHINGTON". He apparently thought the dog got lost and made his way from Clearwater, FL to Bellevue, WA. It was pretty funny.

Uh, I enjoy camping..

Update those dogtags asap. Because of who I am, I have had stray cats come up to me with out of date tags many times. You are lucky your phone number works. It can be a devil of a time trying to reunite a cat and owner.
