FYI: Palos Verdes Loop on Sat, May 19

The Palos Verdes Marathon is on Saturday, May 19th.
Traffic will be restricted on the major part of Palos Verdes South, and some portion of Palos Verdes West between 7AM and 1PM. I wouldn't recommend attempting the Loop during those hours.

Thanks for the heads up. A nice alternate route would be PV Drive West but do the Via Coronel route up to the top and avoid the marathon. Or continue west and turn up Via Zumaya which leads back to Via Coronel.

Once on the top you can loop back down Silver Spur and up PV Drive North to East and down Miraleste Drive to Western and back up.

Eric, Zumaya is my normal training route, but I'm going to avoid the hill on Saturday as I fear a lot of residents will be driving those alternative routes as well. Plus there's GMR on Sunday (as long as the weather holds). I may ride to Pedro for the start/finish to cheer on some of my buddies who are running. if I can get out of working. Maybe I'll see you up there again!
