I just bought my first real MB, a 2003 specialized enduro comp. I hadn't ridden in years and got tired of guys at work going without me. I do a lot of jeeping myself and there are many places that I go that I'd love to bring my bike. This looks like a great forum here, so I hope to learn from you all.

Welcome coreyva. If you come to learn, you've come to the right place. Everyone here is so willing to pass on their knowledge. This forum has really enhanced my riding experience.

Enjoy your new MB. You might get hooked like the rest of us.

I'm in Cypress. So far I've only been to Peter's Canyon. I still need to build up some stamina, so it seems like a good place to start.

nice.. I grew up in Buena Park.. right next door.. I now live literally about 2 miles from Peter's Canyon... you should check out Switchback Cyclery.. at Jamboree and Chapman... they are good people and they run Tuesday and Thursday night rides from the shop into either Peter's Canyon, or Santiago Oaks Park... last I checked they leave at 6...

Peter's is a good place to get started back into MTBing... easy terrain... makes me want to sell my old GT MTB, and get a new full Susp. bike as all the guys I work with keep telling me :-)

coreyva........welcome to the forum..... another SoCal rider here, but I'm mainly into riding fixed gear for now. I live near downtown LA but once a week or so I visit my brother who lives in Buena Park. I always take my bike with me so I can do a nice little loop around Brea and Fullerton. Later for now....
