There is a movement to change the highway code to require cyclists to use cycle facilities "'wherever possible." This may give lawyers grounds to claim negligence on the the part of cyclists who don't use such facilities when offered, thus no compensation or insurance. Do you think some cycle facilities are dangerous? Here is an article in the guardian by Matt Seatton discussing such matters:
