At first you think, "Gee, naked bike ride, sounds like the beginning of a penthouse letter!" Then you go there, and realize that the fat German tourists in banana hammocks that dot Miami beach are now on bikes, sans hammocks.

Public nudity is often more acceptable than you'd think, so long as the bahaviour of the naked people in question isn't lewd, aggressive or violent. For countries with stricter laws, the ride is "as bare as you dare" – full nudity is not mandatory!

Burlington (VT) is doing the ride again this year. Fact: It's legal to be nude. It's only illegal to disrobe in public. Strange law, no?
