If you had a choice to purchase one set of ZIPP racing wheels, and you already train on a setup of tubulars which wheels would you choose. Specifically racing in triathlon's.

Zipp 303 (Clincher or Tubular)
Zipp 404 (Clincher or Tubular)
Zip 909 Tubular

I'm leaning towards the 303's for the more versitile uses. Maybe later I can pick up a disc for the rear.

Your thoughts?

I would get the 404s... they are intended more for the Triathlete. The 303s are a more general wheel, like you said versatile, and is intended for more types of racing then just triathlons.

I rode 404s in time trials for a long time and I loved them... they are super fast.

when you start dealing with wheels in this price range, your wheel choice is really dependent upon the format of the course (is it a straight, calm-wind, out and back?) and upon your expected average speed, which will dictate how important aerodynamics will be.
