Any BF'ers doing Davis this weekend? It's my first Double. Would luv the company. I usually ride pretty aggressively on a Century, but this one I'm gonna cruise till I know I've got it.
Please let me know!

Awesome! Have fun and be safe. I'm not riding it, or I'd love to ride with you (until you had to drop me that is :p) I want a full report!!! :D
Approximately how long do you think it will take you to complete the ride, door to door? Bone

I don't really know, since this is my first one. Somewhere between 13.5 and 15 hours. (Guess) More if I totally bonk! lol

Minemee, I'm doing Davis this weekend. A bunch of us are going to start at 5 am. I'll be one of those riding a Seven. Hope to hook up with you. However, I have to warn you, I'm pretty slow. Solvang took me about 15 hours.

I hear the big climb is right before lunch. Doesn't that always seem to be the case? BTW, I'm #592.

Excellent! I'm #287 I don't think slow is a problem. Like I said I go pretty hard on a Century, but this is my first Double. I've been training, but as it goes for most paople, I haven't gotten as much as I would have liked. I've just got to keep peddling as scootscore put it. I'll look for you!
Thanx!

Great, Minimee. If you are interested, some of us are meeting for dinner on Friday at Strings Italian Restaurant. One of my best, dearest friends, Lynn (a hall of famer in doubles) is putting it together. Let me know if you are interested. Most likely, we'll have a bunch of other double veterans too (Lynn has probably done in excess of 80 doubles in her career).
BTW, a pic would be good so I could recognize you (but then again, if you aren't wearing a helmet, we won't be able to recognize you in a restaurant) ... lol

Does anyone have the route profile for this ride?? Thanks, Bone
