My friend says "Bianki"
I tend to say "biancchhee" (as in branch)

I dont like people saying bianki, as it reminds me of that annoying ginger woman in Depressedenders.

italian is a phonetic language where 'chi' is read 'key' and 'ci' is read 'chi', so yeah it's bee-ahn-key, not bye-ahn-key or bee-ahn-chi.

It was for the longest time......including film-astrophotography, just until recently. I sold off ALL my F's, F2's, astro equipment, and all accessories that I've accumilated since the early 70's, most of them on Ebay. Narrowed my hobbies down to riding fixed gears and tinkering. Life's so much simpler now.....
But now I frequently take my little digicam with me on those nice long rides........it's hard getting rid of that photographic mind...

ack... I wish I knew.. maybe I would have picked some up from you... can never have enough bikes, or camera equipment !
