Northern California - Cold and Windy Tuesday

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
We rode after work...at 6PM the wind was blowing hard at Canada and 92 and it was cold. We rode our tandem to Alpine and Portola - 26 miles. The ride out was comfortable but the wind and cold on the way back reminded us of winter.
Here is a guy that agrees with us...
The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.

We did a ride up Montebello Road ... coming down was really cold ... should have brought my jacket with me. I forgot how cold it can get coming down.

I was out at 2 p.m. and I was thinking it felt like a winter day. Well, we're spoiled around here though aren't we :D It was still a pretty good day to ride. No rain!
I went to ride on Skyline during lunch time. It was foggy, windy and pretty cold.

Went for a Winters loop. Wind was blowing 25-33 in the flats along the 505 against the wind run.

That's why I stayed home. My face feels like it's had microdermabrasion after a ride like that.
More power to you who braved the winds.
