Hello all. I am a new poster (obviously), but I have been riding fairly regularly for a few years. I have a Trek 4500 MTB, but I'm finding myself rarely off road and will be buying a road bike soon. Got to have all the bases covered!

Looking forward to some great discussions!

Welcome to BikeForums, wza97. I used to live in the Falls Church area (nr. Seven Corners) before I moved out west to California. I still have family back there: McLean, Vienna, and Manassas.

Can't say as how I miss the weather back there!

I live in Falls Church about a mile from Seven Corners right now. I'm between 7 Corners and Loehmann's.

The weather has been unusually cool this year, which would be great for cycling/running/golf, but it rains all the time. I've lived here all of my 28 years and I don't remember a winter as cold as the past one, nor do I remember this many rainy days in a season.
