This may belong in the living Car Free Forum. But I thought I would post it here anyway

Car VS Bike, car will aways win, don't take on a car.

Idiots. These hippie's bikes and tires are all made in giant, smoke-belching factories utilizing slave labor. Protest that.

I'm not familiar with CM, but they appear to be a bunch of *******s. I can't stand holier than thou idiots who like to pick on people who cannot defend themselves. Some of the audio is completely revealing. To paraphrase - "No it is YOU who assaulted us. . . . How dare YOU . . . ."

I wouldn't want to have a beer with any of them.

Not sure, but it looked as if they put their bikes under the bumper of the van so they would get run over.

it's berkeley, and they look like college kids. you can only expect idiocy to come from this (woo broad generalizations!). the scene was pissing me off so much i couldn't finish watching it. i stopped right after the hippies started talking about legal action and thought, well, that old guy has a pretty solid case; don't know about the hippies.

i was going to put something about dick cheney and a face full of buckshot, but it just didn't come together.

Old guy should have dropped it into 1st, punched it, and let the bikes crumple. Berkeley doesn't have bikers, it has anarchists on 2 wheels.

After reading up on CM, they serve no real purpose but to disrupte peoples lives.

yeah, critical mass is one of the worst things about bike culture. There was a thread on here a few weeks back about some similar incident which occured at another bay area critical mass. These *******s need to learn that share the road works both ways.

I have ridden in one in Chicago and it is far more an exercise in how to be a "public a$$hole on a bike" rather than people dedicated to "raise awareness of cyclists rights on the road" as they like to think they do. I, in addition to a bunch of others, were either/both drunk/high...exercises in public display x y or z.

I loved how someone shouted about someone being under the van when no one was...that is incredibly malicious. Sinister, even.
