Has anyone had their bike repainted? Or even powder coated? I just am curious if I find a bike that I want and want to repaint it to make it look sweet :) What's the general cost?

wow, thats awesome! Did you just go in and get it done, or was that special sort of deal? I am just trying to get a range. Lastly, what kind of business did the work? i.e. bodyshop or motorcycle shop, I have no idea who does this kind of work

dude come on.

phonebook->powdercoating, painting, automotive, etc.

just ****ing call someone, ask if they ever do bike frames, and what it costs.
Most places that are decent shops, especially if they are smaller indie shops, would probably do it because buisness is buisness.

Hahaha, thanks :) You put that very poignantly. I say to myself..."duh, that was too easy"

I googled powdercoating + where I live. This dude powdercoat's anything that is metal, he was just a straight up powdercoater. This is what he charged for all bicycles.
