Framebuilders - 3D Frame rendering software

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Some one once posted a link to some downloadable software that allowed the user to create a 3D image of a frame, whether it be road, track, bmx, etc., it was really cool. I haven't been able to find it since. I am going to build a frame and have all these ideas that I would like to put down. If you have this, or know where to find/buy it please help a guy out. Thanks.
Freeware? Rhino has a free version which is a fully feature intense 3-D rendering program. a bit simpler perhaps is Google sketchup, but I dont know how truly accurate you can get with that in terms of angles, etc..
solidworks gets my vote but its $$$$!!
a frame is a simple enough drawing that with big paper, a big ruler and a big protractor, you can lay it out by hand in full scale. or get not as big supplies and do it half scale.
