Mountain Biking - Mounting a Mountain Morph

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I love my Mountain Morph and it's currently mounted under my top tube. This requires me to use a smaller size water bottle. Have any of you mounted it under the downtube between the front tire and the downtube directly behind the water bottle cage? I can use the same mount and use the bottle holder to maintain its position, freeing up the holder for a larger bottle.
If you have mounted it there, does dirt from the front tire gunk up the pump or otherwise do damage? Pictures would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
Mine is mounted on the downtube and doesn't interfere with anything.

You need a water bottle cage mount. There are lots of them out there. Performance sells one (http://www.performancebike.com/shop/profile.cfm?SKU=5750&subcategory_ID=4363). There are others around that fit Blackburn pumps which will work. Your local bikeshop should be able to help.
Here's what they look like under the cage

Sorry about the road bike picture but it's the only one I have where the pump is clearly visible. Make sure you get a strap to hold the pump in place.
