racing in socal?

so im finally back home for a summer of bike riding! i grew up here but this will be my first summer racing bikes. i looked at the uscf website for races around here but they didn't list that many. a place as nice as this there must be races to be had every weekend. i was wondering if anyone knew where i could get ahold of info on local races?
