My truvativ isoflow crank is making some weird noise.Sometimes when i pedal, i can hear a rather loud 'tud' sound coming from below. Could something be broken in there or is it just signs of wearing out?:crash: :crash:

Pull your crank and BB and check it out. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out what's broken.

yes. something could be broken in there. or it could be signs of something wearing out. based on the vague description, it would be pretty hard to diagnose what's going on...
o.k. real answer. do you have tools/knowledge to take the cranks/bb off and out? yes? do so, and see what's up. no? either get the tools and either look on the web or in a bike repair book for the knowledge, or take your bike to a shop.
is anything feeling loose, by hand or when pedaling? or just making noise? most likely either something is a) loose or b) broken/manked up bearings. if loose, a simple tightening may suffice, or the interface between the crank/spindle/bearings may be screwed. if bearings, you may either be able to replace the bearings, or may need a new bottom bracket. if something is messed up, replace with new.
Sounds like OP needs a tudbuster! :D
