Southeast - Ride of Silence?

Any held in the south? We had a good turn out in So CA: http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=295753

We had approx. 150 riders here in Birmingham.

4 rides in AL alone. About 140 rode here in B'ham (per newspaper estimate).

edit: Tmax1 is faster than I am. But my wife caught a glimpse of me leaving the lot on Ch 42 :)

There was one about 20 miles from here (http://www.knoxnews.com/kns/local_news/article/0,1406,KNS_347_5540645,00.html), but I didn't attend it. :o

You have an interesting angle on your pictures. It almost looks like you took them from a helicopter.

Ah. 42. I was looking at Fox6. I was on Fox6 for 2 minutes this morning. Bike to Work Day spot.

Thanks, Velo Vol. :) Actually there is a cul de sac at the top of a canyon overlooking the Rose Bowl. I rode up there to take the pics. I couldn't join as I had a time constraint, but I definitely support the ride.

Hopefully I didn't make it. Leaving, I was on the camera side and we were going slow enough to where I was wobbling back and forth frantically trying to get my other foot strapped in. I about crashed into the camera man himself. :o

A good turnout for the 2nd year in Gaston County, NC. There was a 50% increase in riders from '06 to '07.

I'm new around here, but I joined the Orlando (Winter Park) ROS , seemed to be 30 -40 riders.
(I didn't make a count, just a feeling really)

One in Huntsville about three weeks ago.
