Some Pedro's Bike Lust (water-based silicone bike polish) dripped onto our hardwood floor this afternoon. Any suggestions for getting it off/cleaning it up?

Hey, same thing happened to me once. I was cleaning my bike inside without a dropcloth, and when I was done, I realized the overspray had gotten all over the hardwood floor. It was quite slippery.

I didn't do anything, and after a week or so, it just disappeared. Evaporated, maybe, or wore away from walking on it. I don't really know.

Cool. That's what I figured/hoped would happen eventually, so it's good to know that it will. I'll just wait it out. Thanks!

Water based? Wipe it up with a damp sponge.

Yeah, that's what I thought when I read "water-based", but it just spread out across a bigger area.

Christ, I knew this question would go there...
