Touring - Longest bike routes on America

What are the longest bike-dedicated routes in America. Routes where you ride along canals and stuff. Like that one that goes from Pennsylvania to DC. The Delaware Gap Trail? There's one along the Erie Canal too, isn't there?

I think the C&O Canal/Allegeny Trail now has the Katy beat. 315 miles from DC to Pittsburgh.

Other long routes: Cowboy Trail across Nebraska. It's not complete but you could ride the undeveloped sections with a properly equiped bike.

Elroy/Sparta trail which connects to several others for a continuous route from above La Crosse WI, all the way to at least Reedsburg. On the east side of Wisconsin, there's the Glacial Drumlin Trail with connect to stuff around Madison and gets you nearly half way across the state.

Michelson Trial in South Dakota. Only 110 miles but very scenic

The Colorado Trail is 400+ miles long. You can't ride a bike the whole way (it crosses several wilderness areas) but you may do around 300 miles of it. The issue is if you can do it. It's a tough trail!

The Maah Daah Hey Trail (http://www.fs.fed.us/r1/dakotaprairie/mdhtl.htm) in North Dakota is 97 miles of mountain biking.

The Centennial Trail (http://www.dirtworld.com/trails/trail.asp?id=647&trail_name=The%20Centennial%20Trail%20Mountain%20Bike%20Trail)in South Dakota is another epic mountain bike trail, as is the Rainbow Trail in Colorado.

The Erie Canal Trail that is off road is about 100 contiguous miles, but will eventually be a lot longer.

The Cowboy trail in Nebraska will be 321 Miles long when completed. Right now there's over 160 miles completed with a 143 mile continuous section from Norfolk to Ainsworth. If you don't like hills, this is the trail for you!

I guess that Erie Canal when completed in a couple of years will be around 450.

I guess the American Discovery Trail seems to be the longest. Their website says no motorised traffic.

I think that the ADT site might be a tad misleading. I think it is their INTENT to make a coast to coast non-motorized trail. They haven't accomplished it yet. Here is a quote from thier website about the portion of the trail that goes by my house. "Much of the trail in the northwest is on back roads, but there are over 60 miles of greenway trails in the east-central part of the state."

I believe it's crusher fines. At least it was around Valentine last time I was there.
