How do you guys feel about the Specialized Stumpy Comp?

Are there any other hardtails in this $1600 price range I should also be looking at?

Does anyone own a newer Stumpjumper and what do they think?

I have an '04 stumpy that i use as a beater & commuter , pretty cool frame it is.
