Been having some pain in my "bad" knee for a few days so I havn't been riding much. Decided to go out last night for a short ride and it hurt like hell for a couple of miles and then it started feeling better. When I got home I put one of those slip-on neoprene knee brace things on my knee. I left it on when I went to bed too. This morning when I took the brace off, the pain was gone. :) I've done this on other occasions too but I'm not sure why these things help relieve the pain. Is it the compression? Is it the heat? Just what is it that makes these things work? Anyone know?

Stops the kneecap from rubbing to much on the materials underneath. Essentially keeps the kneecap in it 'prime' position. :) (at least thats what I have been told)
