I'm planning to purchase A dimondback topanga or a diamondback response...are these bikes good for the money?

btw i'm not a hard core rider, just wanna have a bike for summer.

I purchased a diamondback ultima from dept store for 300 Cdn. dollars-threadless headset,full suspension,quick release front wheel and seat post,B.B.cartridge bottom bracket,reverse spring loaded rear derailluer...What is the specs on this bike?
