I have a conversion i did earlier this year and want to put those parts onto a track frame. im thinking about getting one of the fuji track's with different names. either the motobecane , windsor and i hear about the KiloTT or the KHS. but where can i find those last two? bikes direct has the windsor and motobecane. My plan is to swap out my bars, saddle, and tires. keeping the drive chain for now until i can replace that.

i know some of you are going to suggest to me buying a track frame by itself like the pake. which i have looked at. but thats more money i dont have to spend and i would be needing to get a BB and crankset etc...

any help with where to buy those bikes?

personally i think the motobecane is the best looking, the windsor decal are awful

either or are fine for starting out. i know bike messengers in nyc that ride the mericer's and windsor's. if u use the search function on the top right, u'll find a crap load of discussions. hope that helps. i had the mercier to start off with and now i have a bridgestone b/c i had some money coming in. the mercier is a great. so is the windsor. i've ridden, skidded, skipped, and jumped over flaming hoops on it. cheap, fast delievery, so do it.

buy one that appeals to your eye and is the right size

then spend your money on the parts of the bike that touch your body

saddle

pedals (+shoes?)

bars

some shorts and gloves would be nice too

dont forget a helmet if you dont have one

But the Mercier KILO TT is due just now in
Messenger is in
The Hour is due about June 20th 2007

by the way - new windsor decals are much more popular
