Introductions - Hello from Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Hi all
Recently moved here from the UK. What a beautiful place to live.
Port Macquarie is 4 hours north of Sydney, 6 hours south of Brisbane and is aiming to be the cycling capital of NSW

By 'eck Easy Hill, its just like being in Yorkshire hehehe.
I am very much a casual rider with a mission to get better. I have a young family but as he is getting older I wam wanting to do more cycling in the countryside. Being in Oz has given me enthusiasm to do this - lets go.

Did you do much riding on the Dales, then? I am dying to go back for a visit and get some riding in--perhaps over the Pennines, and then over to Sneck Yate Bank or summat so that I can get in some REAL riding :D .
On a slightly different note--you aren't originally from Scagglethorpe, are you? I may be a Lanky Lass, but some of the rellies were originally (a long time ago) from that area.

Hi
Again only causal biking in the UK. I grew up in Nidderdale but spent more recent years in Newcastle upon Tyne.
I think I prefer to do my leisure time here than the UK
