To clarify, talking about an aftermarket bike rack here. I know a lot of SUVs have factory-installed roof racks...

I once strapped a whitetail deer to the trunk lid of 1984 Corvette. The car was only a couple of years old at the time.

Once saw a pic on these forums with a trunk rack on a ferrari. everyone seemed to think it was photoshopped though.

Are you joking? Here in Europe, you will see all matter of Mercedes (C-class, etc) and BMWs with trailer hitches and roof racks (usually with ski boxes). I won't bore you with further details. It is not big deal.

Same here in California. I haven't seen a Ferrari with a bike rack yet, though.

Not a big deal here either. Some regulars in our groups bring their bikes on BMW M3 & M5, Porsche Carrera & Boxter and a Corvette C6. No Ferrari's yet though :D
