I have Avid Shorty 4s on my LHT. I'm having trouble with one of the rear brake pads rubbing against the rim. How do I adjust the pad outward so this doesnt happen? Do I loosen the straddle cable a little bit?

i don't have avids, but many cantis have a small adjustment screw for tuning spring tension. try screwing in the side that rubs and/or unscrewing the side that doesn't.
