Someone broke into my truck and stole my mp3 player...then they left the lights on so my battery died.

People are pathetic...

Somebody stole my remington shaver in a similar break in.

Luckily they didn't do the light thing. But even if they did, I have an auto shut off feature. Plus jumper cables.

I had someone break into my Ford Escort on New Years Eve 05/06 and steal my 8 year old CD player. They left my checkbook, GPS, four FRS radios and a bunch of other stuff. Morons.

I used to drive a sad old Olds 98, and people used to break into it and leave me charity stereos! (Kidding!)

Sorry to hear, Tim, some people are just trash!

I actually know a woman who had her car stolen (a Honda Civic) and it was found by the police and returned with a new stereo in it.

Meh, it's my fault obviously for leaving it unlocked, and it was parked behind some trees in front of my house rather then where i usually park it, in plain view.

The little prick probably wouldn't know what to do with the truck had i left the keys in it. Probably some 15 year old who is going to have a worthless MP3 player once the battery runs out.

My friend's car used to get broken into all the time by homeless guys on cold nights, then they'd take a crap in the morning and leave.

Jon showed me how to break into his truck. So pretty much I have my own key. That's what friends are for. :D

I left my headphones on the front seat one night last weekend. I came out and the earbuds were GONE.

Stupid mouse took a liking to them, so he chewed them off and took them to his nest in the dashboard. Thieving little bastard. Those things cost me $150!! The strange thing is, he left the rest of the wire and took only the earbud pieces. That mouse has expensive tastes.

Now I'm in musical no-man's land awaiting delivery of my next pair... :(

take out what you want to keep and leave it unlocked.

He's taking them around to the other mice and asking them if they want to buy some overstock speakers that just came off the truck and have to be sold at a deep discount. :D

My wife's car had all her spare change (probably under $1) taken from it one night. She left the doors unlocked. The person also rifled through the glove box but nothing valuable is in there. This was in Arlington, VA over 10 years ago. Several people reported similar thefts. Cops figured it was some homeless guy checking car doors and looking for money.

1981 Mazda RX7

I bought it with cash, needing a bunch of work. I fixed it up, got it roadworthy, added custom parts (exaust, body effects, etc) and failed to get the requisite insurance.

It was stolen, stripped and burned. Total loss, lessons learned.

Yep that's what friends are for, don't worry I trust you.

Oh and (psssssst, to get into my house, all you gotta do is wedge some wood into the back window and it pops open)

So now that you have the key to my house and truck, where's my copy of the key to the Transam? ;)

It sucks about the mp3 player, but you have to admit leaving the lights on is pretty funny.

I'm not going to lie...

That said, it makes me want to catch the little prick even more so i can introduce my foot up his ass.

The thing is that i rarely even use the MP3 player. It's too big to use as a personal mp3 player and i have a shuffle for that purpose, but this thing was 60 gigs and was perfect for the car despite the fact that i typically listen to AM when i drive. But really its the principle of the matter. I know theft is certainly not a new thing to human society, but i just can't fathom how people can consciously break into someones property/car etc, and take things. No morals what so ever. I kind of pity their sorry existence.

Sorry to hear about your music.

Not to brag but where I live, we often leave our keys in our vehicles. If it were gone when we came back, the first thought would be someone borrowed it.

just tape razor blades and dirty needles all up behind said stereo and around the wiring harness. make sure to leave the window open enough so they don't break it. good decoy fun. b4stards deserve nothing less than pain misery and infection.

remove booby trap before servicing. LOL

Probably some 15 year old who is going to have a worthless MP3 player once the battery runs out.Well, I've never lost anything from my car in the last 15-years of leaving it unlocked! Then last week, some punks broke in and took the faceplate from my stereo! They're probably thinking they're SO clever! Bastards! They also broke into my GF's car and stole a couple pairs of sunglasses off her dash. Little do they know that she was going to throw them away anyway due to them being scratched and out of fashioned. At least they know how to take out the trash like good little kids....

It doesn't require a key. You need this special watch like thing and you talk into it.
