I've been using SPDs for about 10 years now and have them on a few bikes, but the bike I bought most recently came with some Look-compatible Nashbar pedals. Other than the weight they seem decent enough. I figure I might as well pick up some shoes and actually use them.

My budget is about $100 give or take for the shoes and I have long and fairly narrow feet (I wear a 48 in Sidis). Any specific recommendations (or brands/models to avoid?).

If your Sidi shoes fit well, then get another pair of Sidis. Fit is more important than any other feature.

I like my sidis the best but I just got a pair of these for $120. So far so good.
