Mountain Biking - Freeride & Downhill Video

I do aviation videos and now my son is deep into downhill and freeriding. I have Viosport helmet cams and now they are used more on the biking than aircraft! I like your web page. Since you are up north, your favorite trails probably get some snow cover. I just posted a new photo that shows John's favorite training area- Thunder Mountain. Check out the view from the top of the mountain! The hike up to the top was a bit challenging due to the snow. The ride down was intense.

Usually it's a hike-a-bike due to the snow depth. The ride down is always a bit sketchy - - but still fun.

John took first place in his division at the Northstar-at-Tahoe Mountain bike downhill race on Sunday, 1 July, 2007. The course was challenging to say the least. The trail was strewn with rocks and boulders to dodge, jump, or whatever means gets you through. There were numerous crashes resulting in injuries, none major. Despite John's body armor, he took a good hit on the elbow. All riders in his race crashed at least once.
