I've been lurking, want to get a bike. Found this one in a local ad, size seems right, price is in the right ball park. I was hoping someone might be able to weigh in on brand/value. Thanks guys!

"53cm Zeus Road Race Bike (like Orbea) - $375

Up for sale is a nice 53cm Zeus Road Race Bike. The bike is in nice shape and is a Spanish frame with STI shifters. The Zeus brand is the Spanish label for Orbea so it's like a 1999 Orbea Mitis frame (7000 aluminum). Zeus is also a vintage collectible bicycle brand...The tires are good and it is ready to go. The shifters and wheels are shimano sora and it rides good and is well maintained. The right side shifter hangs a little when shifting, it needs a new set of clipless pedals, and there are a few signs of use. The bike looks good and rides nice & is good for men/women from 5'7"-6' tall (I'm 5'9" & it fits good).

Doesn't look bad, and if it fits, and you like it, snatch it up!

It looks kind of beat up to me. I wouldn't offer over $300. If nothing else, the frame should be fine.
