I drove down to Louisiana (official residence) from Northwest Arkansas (working residence) on Friday. Stopped in south Arkansas to get my mom. On Saturday, my daughter graduated from college:D :D :D . Picture proud mom and pop and granny:D :D :D !!!!! Following graduation, the crew, including daughter's boy friend, his mom and sister) went out to eat.

Today, I got in 35 miles on the Fuji in flat central Louisiana, no hills, very little wind. Had a slice and a half of my mother's pecan pie after the ride:D . Finished up the day with a trip to the pistol range including son, daughter, and daughter's boyfriend. The daughter pretty well out-shot the boyfriend... chip off the old block;) .

I am one happy, blessed, and grateful olde pharte.

Congratulations, it doesn't get any better than a happy family, mom's pecan pie and a good ride.

Very nice sir, glad you had a nice day. What sort of pistols if I may be so bold?

Now that's an idea...my usual Friday afternoon route goes by our gun & pistol range. Maybe I'll take a pistol and stop off and do some target practice. Do they make an underseat scabbard for a bicycle? Must look into that.

The boyfriend had a Springfield XD compact in 9mm. I brought my old Ruger Standard 22 LR semiauto, a Taurus PT-99AF in 9mm, and one of my Colt 1911s in 45ACP, 5".
