Frozen post count

Out of curiosity I checked my post count earlier today...905. Then I posted many more messages, and checked again...still 905.

Any reason why this could be?

For some reason, I think that foo posts don't count but I could be mistaken.

Yup. Foo posts don't count. (They used to, and older ones are grandfathered into your post count. New ones do not count.)

That explains everything. I was starting to wonder what the heck I was thinking, and where I had come across this perception.
