my shifting is clean and smooth into every gear i have...i have a double upfront and a 9 speed in the back. What the problem is, when i am in my big ring and in the 2 highest gears in the back...my chain rubs on the front derailer..so the gears that it's rubbin in are my 50x12 and the 50x13...it's rubbing on the outside of the chain, away from the frame...so how do i fix this?

It can most likely be fixed by increasing cable tension of the front derailer from the adjusting barrel. Also the high limit screw of the front derailer might need some fine tuning. Check out Sheldon Brown or Park Tool sites for detailed steps on these adjustments.

And you are pushing the shift lever over again in those cogs to take advantage of the trim feature, correct?
