Sorry for the dumb question here. I've done everything from watch YouTube videos to combing the forum but haven't found a definitive answer.

For a warm-temp sprint event, is it possible just to wear a short-sleeve skinsuit (not a full wetsuit) for all 3 stages? Do rules (or common sense) ever preclude this? Does it make more sense to go with a two-piece suit, or does it matter? I assume most competitors at least bike & run in the same clothing.

Most people wear their bike/run clothing under their wetsuit. If the water is warm enough and/or you're a good enough swimmer you can swim in just about whatever (some people opt to swim in just shorts). :)

Yeah, I wear a tri shorts and jersey under a wetsuit. Or just tri shorts if the water is too warm for a wetsuit. Check out trisports.com for some good examples.
