I forgot where it was, but the road's name was Dix something or other. When I saw the sign first thing I thought was "man it must suck to have a house on that road"...."Hi, I live on Dix!"

I think there's not only a town called "Gay" but also a "Fort Gay" in WV. Then there are quite a few Mud Licks (Road or Run, take your choice).

There's a town named Gaylord in Michigan (when I was 12, I got some laughs about that).

How about Satan Wood Drive (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Satan+Wood+Drive&sll=39.20535,-76.88415&sspn=0.011523,0.020084&ie=UTF8&z=16&iwloc=addr&om=1). It was supposed to be 'Satin Wood', but there was a typo (http://drmysterian.com/2005/02/residents-of-satans-wood-hate-their.html).

We have a Peckerwood Rd in Little Rock! The first time I saw it, I had to turn around and make sure I read it correctly. I wonder just how many times that sign has been stolen?

I remeber back when the north-south interstate that went through Fort Wayne, Indiana was I-69 (yes, that sign was stolen with such reckless abandon that by the time I moved to California, they were having discusssion to change the name of the road so that the signs would not be stolen so often)
