Foo - Looks like I'm going to be a Front Ranger soon!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Colorado Springs, here I come!!
I'm "penciled in" for orders to CO Springs. They could get changed, but it's certainly enough now to start researching houses and, more importantly, trails!!

I'm about an hour away from Fruita. By bike, that is.
The livin' is good in ole Grand Junction.
Joint assignment?
NORTHCOM - really good deal for me.
Plus, the only better location would be Stuttgart... and that one's still on my dreamsheet.
There aren't any Ranger Bn's at Carson, are there?

Congrats! I hope it helps you on your way to your 4th stripe!
Beats me. I'm Navy and our only Battalions are in the Seabees... and I'm not a 'Bee.
But... since I'll be out there, doing the "joint" thing, I imagine I'll find out!

Ahhh. gotcha. Wasn't sure what "Front Ranger" meant. Either way, I'm jealous--it's quite the sought-after assignment for us too.

Thanks! Me, too. That's the theory, so we'll see if it pans out. I've got all the other tickets I need with the possible exception of an IA and I've got time to squeeze one in before my board.
And if I don't... well, CO Springs is a nice place to spend my last few years in the Navy!

Sorry... just meant someone who lives and plays in the Front Range of CO.

My CO spent about 6 months as a sandbox sailor last year (a little out of the box for an ED submariner).
Yep - I figure my turn will be in the next couple of years.
