Sorry, but i am trying to order a few things from Pricepoint, i emailed them a couple of days ago and they didnt reply, i want to know how they ship to the UK (if thats possible).

I have put the items into my shopping cart, and gone to the shipping section there are several options:

Ground (48 States)
2-Day air (UPS 48 States)
Next day air (UPS 48 States)
2-Day air (UPS, AK & HI)
AK, HI, PR, GU, VI, (US priority mail)
APO, AE, FPO (US Priority mail)
Canadian (US air parcel post)
International Express (DHL)
International catalogue/Gift certificate

Im guessing its International express that i HAVE to use, but its $46!!! thats like paying over half of the original item!.

Sorry i just have no idea what all of the abbreviations mean (APO, AE etc)

Dazza,

I believe the APO is Army Post Office, frequently used
for U.S. military stationed overseas.
Ak and Hi are Alaska and Hawai respectively.
PR is Puerto Rico, Vi is Virgin Islands.
Yeah I think your stuck with international.

Dazza,

Have you checked out Total Cycling (http://www.totalcycling.com/) they have some very nice prices and are
in Ireland so shipping should be cheap.

Well...

If you want to order it, see how much it costs to ship to Chicago, and see how much it would cost to ship from Chicago to Ireland, I'm happy to forward your package to you!

It's an option...

Ground (48 States): Package can only be sent to the lower 48 states, no Alaska/Hawaii. Package won't make it to you this way....

2-Day air (UPS 48 States): United Parcel Service - same as above, won't make it to you....

Next day air (UPS 48 States): United Parcel Service - same as above, won't make it to you....

2-Day air (UPS, AK & HI): United Parcel Service - Alaska/Hawaii. Package won't make it to you

AK, HI, PR, GU, VI, (US priority mail): US Postal Service - Alaska/Hawaii and islands in the Caribbean, package won't make it to you....

APO, AE, FPO (US Priority mail): APO stands for "Army Post Office," and is associated with Army or Air Force installations. FPO stands for "Fleet Post Office," and is associated with Navy installations and ships. AE is also part of the military stuff but can't remember the designation.

APO/FPO Mail - domestic mail and international mail that bears a U.S. military delivery address or return address and that, in some stage of its transmission, is in the possession of the Department of Defense. This is mail that is being sent to or received from military installations located outside the Continental United States. Mail is centralized at certain locations such as San Francisco and New York for transport overseas. I don't think you can use this method unless you are US military.

Canadian (US air parcel post): sorry, can't help you here, guess would be shipping to our northern friends only....

International Express (DHL): Major air freight carrier, can send stuff out of the states. I would say this is about your only choice.

There are plenty of UK+NI sources of bike kit. The back pages of cycling mags are full of them. Shipping will be cheaper, and replacement/service will be a lot easier than going across the pond.
