Isn't it meant to be 23-8? Not that it makes much difference

But you mainly just ride trails so that's ok right? Because street, park, and flatland normally run smaller gearing...I think.

also , today at the flea market i bought an old bike. i will have pics later. it looks like it's from around 1935 and i have yet to locate the brand. the cranks are 1 piece and are held to the frame by a plate riveted to the frame. there are no bearings in the whole bike, just bushings. there is no toptube and their is no toptube. the wheels are solid rubber and the spokes are about 8 g

I'm restoring this right now, I sandblasted the fork down the other day and painted it John Deere Green.

Skiptooth chainwheel? Wooden pedals? Fixed gear? Tell me some stuff about it.

gnr rocker
05-22-07, 04:04 PM
if a skip tooth chain has like a big link, small link big link, small link then yes it has a skip tooth chain. it's fixed gear, and no pedals. the cranks are rivited on.

Unlike mine, the paint on his is salvageable, it just needs to be waxed.
