Go see this movie! It rocks!
Troo Dat! I bet they could do sequels, 28 Months later and 28 years later.

Was it really? I had been wondering about it because I enjoyed 28 Days Later, but the mere facts that 28 Weeks Later was a sequel and that Danny Boyle wasn't directing it made me pretty wary of it. How did it compare to the first one?

More guns, more zombies, less acting quality. So it about evened out.

Oh okay, I can deal with that. :) Maybe I'll check it out.

I enjoyed both films and I usually hate sequels.

The word that my buddy and I agreed on to describe 28 Weeks is savage. It really is pretty unrelenting, and all of the death scenes are just so visceral. And there isn't any of the campy-levity from the first, like the grocery store sequence or the scene with the horses.
I liken it to the first two Bourne movies. The first sets up the story and is more concentrated on characters and the story. The second one is more focused on action, since the general plot and characters have already been introduced. But both are awesome.
