Any other Office fans here?
I try not to watch too much TV here (I have a 13in TV with rabbit ears reception) but I do enjoy the office. I don't work in that sort of a setting, but it's so funny!
I didn't catch the hour long season finale last week because I was at a bike commuting talk my bf was giving for a local company. I can probably predict what happened on the show though.
I went out and bought the Season 1 & 2 DVDs.

I'm guessing you're talking the US version. That's the one I'm familiar with and it's a fantastic and well written show. Half of the background cast are writers/producers, so the quality stays high with their stake in looking good, I think.
The show has enough of those awkward, uncomfortable moments to make it hilarious.
Jim messing with Dwight
Creed being a complete creep.
Kevin being a big lug of a creep.
Angela's uptight attitude, except when she's getting turned on by Dwight's power trips.
Pam's insecurities.
Michael's quixotic ineptitude and complete lack of social tact.
Jan's [edited.... you'll have to watch the season finale for that one... :D ]
Dwight being Dwight.
The guys in the warehouse.
I've only seen the original UK version a few times. From what I can tell, the US version has found its own way, which is a good thing.

Yup, I'm talking about the US version.
I've seen the UK version once. I had a hard time following the dialog, when they talk fast I don't quite understand all the words.

Initially, I liked the British version much better because it was much dryer (as British humor tends to be) and therefore maintained the "documentary" feel more consistently. But the US version, though it started out very similarly to the British one, developed a life of its own, and I've come to love it almost more than the British one. I absolutely adore Pam, and even though I hated Dwight at first (not the character, per se, but more so the actor and his portrayal of Dwight), he's really grown on me too.
eofelis, you should definitely watch the finale. You will not be disappointed!
My wife and I huge office fans. I loved the UK version but I was really skeptical that they could pull off an American version (see Coupling, AbFab, etc.).
But it really has found its voice. Deadly funny.

Im not a fan of the US version of the show. Ive watched it a few times and just didnt find it all that funny. Im much more of a fan of the UK version with it's dry sense of humor. Youve definetely gotta hand it to the Brits when it comes to comedy.
